Hi, I noticed that we share the same locale (Atlanta) and an interest in Orthodox Christianity. What a small world. I just thought that I'd say, "hello". Do you attend the ROCOR St. Mary of Egypt church in Roswell? My wife and I attended St. Mary's a couple of times several years ago while it was in its old location.

Hi - yes, when we are able, we attend St. Mary of Egypt (ROCOR) in Roswell. With both of us partially disabled, however, we only get to Church a few times a year, now. We are founders. May God bless you.

I remember Father John Townsend and Deacon John Hanson from St. Mary's very well. Deacon John gave me a book titled "Elder Leonid of Optina" that he said I would enjoy reading. I also remember the choir at St. Mary's, which sings more beautifully than one would've thought possible. It is a very nice church. We live out in Paulding County, and unfortunately it is a long drive to St. Mary's so we didn't attend on more than a couple of occasions. We are attending St. Stephen Orthodox Church in Hiram right now, which is only 4 miles from our house. I hope that both you and your family have a Blessed Lent.
In Christ,
Gabriel
